1. The earliest poem in it is A Place Within My Dreams and was written at the age of 11. Ironically, it encompasses my ideals very well and is a good foundation for the person I would eventually become.
2. The latest poem in this book, In Bloom And Thorn I Wait, was written at the age of 26, just before my Saturn Return when life took a rocky turn and all solidity was tested. This is also seen in the 2 pieces of writing at the end of the book, Truth and Void.
3. Truth is a controversial piece which many people don't understand. The very first paragraph is the key to understanding the piece. If you can't do what the first paragraph asks, it'll make no sense to you!
4. The photographs on the front covers of both the First (ISBN-free) Edition and the Second Edition (above) were taken during a time in my life when all the poems and writing in the collection were relevant - two moments captured by a lens, when all truths were one truth. In this sense, the cover photos summarise the book.
5. My partner, who really doesn't like poetry very much, read it and actually enjoyed it (bonus!).
6. The poem INNER-FIRE, found after the introduction, is a good luck charm of sorts. It's often used in the beginning of my writings and collections and it's become a useful mantra I use to tackle writer's block!
