My Two New Titles

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and a great New Year – it seems like ages ago now, doesn't it?

Two New Titles
Published end of May, I've got two non-fiction books coming out with Bitten Fruit Books in the Mind, Body, Spirit genre: Working With Crystals & Stones and Working With Fairies & Elementals

I've walked a Pagan path since December 2000, when I dedicated myself into [solitary] Witchcraft – I don't call it Wiccan, although it's mostly the same. Since then, I also began to study Native American, Celtic and Toltec Shamanism with Ivan McBeth and was subsequently initiated into the path of the Warrior and continued my Shamanic journey with other teachers, friends and by myself.

In that time, I've read a lot – a LOT. But the most that I've ever learnt was from the physical "doing" of a practice, not reading. Nothing beats hands on experience.  As a direct result of this, my books are short, concise and focus solely on getting out there and "doing" rather than reading, inspiring the Bitten Fruit Books Insights Series. I don't write a much, if anything, about the history of a subject. Even though it's important to know where something comes from, it's not as important as knowing where you can take it. Learn to work with crystals and they'll show you where they come from; learn to work with fairies and they'll tell you where they come from.

At only £4.95 each, these books are affordable and serve as your own personal journal as well as a handy how-to guide. They're out on 30th May, 2011 (earlier from select locations) and will be available to pre-order from Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com in about a week.

Blurb: Part of Bitten Fruit Books' Insights Series, Working With Crystals & Stones is a short, concise and affordable, how-to guide that will serve as invaluable data for all those starting out in the subject and handy reminder notes for the seasoned practitioner. Bitten Fruit Books Insights Series focuses on “doing”, not reading, so readers of this book are encouraged to put to practice the given meditations, methods and guidelines. Included are a few blank journal pages at the end of the book for recording experiences, as well as 13 crystal profiles, info on how to make elixirs, the author's own recipe for making “Witch's Holy Water” to cleanse your crystals with and more. This guide contains everything you need to start working with crystals and stones.
