A Message For My Valentine.

I hope you don't get mad I made this public.

You see, I write romance, and in our heart of hearts, we 'romantic' women (and often, we pretend to be far too pragmatic), sometimes want to be able to shout about how much our loved ones mean to us.

Thank you for waiting for me to finish every book, as I write away into the early hours of the morning;

Thank you for not ranting and raving (all the time) about the chaos of our home, as everything else disappears while my internal world becomes reality;

Thank you for looking after our precious, stubborn, little angel when I just have to get that paragraph finished;

And thank you for still being there, when I finally return to you from the land of demons, angels and magic.

I don't say I love you enough (and I do love you),

And I'm utterly crap at writing cards (sorry about that),
