I am a Kreativ Blogger Award nominee!

I've been nominated for a Kreativ Blogger Award by BDSM romance author, Sue Lyndon! Yey! Thanks Sue! Do take a look at her work. I reviewed one of her books, Valentine Submission, HERE. She writes erotic romance that's very tender and healing, which is a rarity when the sub-genre is BDSM. It's worth a read.

I haven't had a website nominated for anything in well over ten years, so this is a lovely treat.

The Kreativ Blogger rules say I must:
  • Thank my nominator
  • Provide a link to his/her blog
  • List 7 things readers might find interesting about me
  • And nominate 7 others

7 things about me that you may find interesting:
  1. My publication history began at the age of nineteen, with a number of poems and one short story in various small press magazines
  2. I was going to be an actress, not an author, and studied for this at Drama School after my 'A' Levels
  3. The first film I ever watched at the cinema was Disney's Snow White And The Seven Dwarves at the age of three, and the second was Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom at around four or five.
  4. My first crush was Luke Skywalker at the age of five (although nowadays, I'm more of a Han Solo girl ;))
  5. I am half Brazilian, and half Macanese-Portugese, although I love the United Kingdom and consider Scotland my spiritual home.
  6. My first memory ever was just before I was one year old, of a cave in Portugal, where I saw stalagmites and stalactites, and an ice sculpture of Snow White lying in her coffin. (Are you seeing a Snow White theme here? Is it any wonder I write about female transformation, life, death and re-birth in my fiction, that is usually brought about by a kiss?)
  7. I like to use completely natural, herbal shampoos (although it's hard to find one that actually works well), and I only brush my hair about once a month, and get it cut no more than once a year.
The Kreativ Blogger is a fun award that gives people the opportunity to get to know their favourite blogger better, and also gives acknowledgement to other blogs that have held peoples' interest in one way or another. Here are the 7 blogs I nominate:
  1. Emily Guido (Paranormal Romance Author)
  2. Gabrielle Bisset (Romance and Paranormal Romance Author)
  3. Elizabeth Morgan (Paranormal Romance Author)
  4. Emma Mills (YA Paranormal Fantasy Author)
  5. Bookaholics Book Club (Book blogger & reviewer)
  6. Totally Bookalicious: After Dark (Book blogger & reviewer)
  7. No Pain, No Jane (an exercise / diet / weight loss / personal journey blog)
Apologies if any of you have already been nominated; I just think your blogs are cool and that more people should know about them! :)
