From the 7th April (until the 9th April), The Sands Of Time will be FREE on Amazon Kindle for the Easter weekend :) This is the last time it will be available for free download, so grab it. I'll be taking it off the KDP select programme and uploading it to other sites after the 26th April.

I don't yet know whether The Demon Bride will be uploaded onto KDP Select. Doing this with The Sands Of Time was a marketing exercise. There are pros and cons. The visibility you get from free days on the Amazon platform is invaluable, but everyone knows that you don't make the most loyal readers from giving away your book for free in a mass promo exercise. You create a loyal following by engaging with readers and giving a concentrated number of free copies in a targeted promo exercise (...and writing something good!). It may be that with The Demon Bride, I concentrate more on book blogging and reviews - I guess it all depends on what comes out of this Easter weekend. We shall see...

The Demon Bride is looking to be about 60,000 words long (novel length), which will make the trade paperback about 200 pages, so we're looking at a book priced at around £7.50 / $11.87  Fiction Fascination will be hosting the cover reveal for the paperback on 12th April, with links so you can pre-order the book. (Based on this word count, the eBook will be between $2.49 and $2.99).

The eBook version will be out on 31st August.
The paperback version will be out on 31st October.

There will also be an omnibus edition of the entire trilogy released probably at the end of December. Obviously, this is so fans of the series can obtain all three books more cheaply, BUT each novella will remain available individually, because each couples' story is so different from the other - some people will like book one, but not book two, etc.

I was going to bring out a small paperback edition of each book so people have the choice of small paperbacks, but looking at the pricing, I can't really sell it any cheaper unless I'm buying in bulk and using a different printer, so there's no point. Besides, I had some great feedback yesterday about the trade paperback size from a friend - she said that even though it's larger, it feels more "tactile" and because it bends more easily, it's easier to hold and read. So, I won't be revisiting the option of small paperbacks for this series any time soon.

At some point soon, I shall be putting the short story Wilted (A Witching Pen Novellas Prequel) on Amazon sites, but please note that it won't be free on there unless they price match - it'll be $0.99.
